ANTI-STATIC

A Retreat Into Quiet

What happens when we put down our phones, step away from the noise and give ourselves a little more space to simply be?

ANTI-STATIC is a day to unplug from the constant hum of everyday life and reconnect with ourselves, our surroundings and the quieter parts of our experience. The day will unfold gently, with periods of quiet woven throughout — giving you the chance to move, rest, reflect and notice what happens when we don’t have to fill every moment with noise.

We’ll begin with a grounding yoga flow with Eilidh, warming the body and settling into the day.

Ruth will then guide a slower practice of restorative, longer-held poses, alongside therapy-based journalling prompts to encourage reflection and curiosity.

We’ll share a simple supper together before settling into a sound bath with Sharlyn, allowing sound, stillness and rest to bring the day towards evening.

As dusk falls, we’ll head outside to experience the local area around the Barn with nature, the quiet and the dark.

This is a day to slow down, switch off and tune in. There will be plenty of space for quiet and periods where we won’t be talking, but there is no expectation to be perfectly still or silent. You can simply come as you are and let the day unfold around you.
